The banner isn’t showing on my store

The banner is a theme app embed. In your Shopify admin, open Online Store → Themes → Customize, click the App embeds icon in the left sidebar, switch on FairConsent Banner, and click Save. If you use geo-targeting (Pro), remember the banner only shows in the regions you selected — use "All visitors" to test.

Will FairConsent break my Meta pixel / Google Ads tracking?

No — by design. FairConsent never injects or modifies tracking tags. It only emits consent signals through Shopify’s Customer Privacy API and Google Consent Mode v2. Your existing pixels respond to those signals exactly as Google, Meta, and Shopify intend.

How do I add a "Cookie settings" link to my footer?

Add a menu item or footer link pointing to #fairconsent-preferences. Clicking it reopens the consent banner so visitors can change their choice any time.

How do I customize the banner’s look?

All appearance settings — position, light/dark theme, accent color, corner radius, custom texts — live in the theme editor: App embeds → FairConsent Banner. Translations for EN, DE, FR, ES, IT and NL are built in.

What counts as an "impression"? What are the limits?

There are none. Every FairConsent plan, including Free, has unlimited banner impressions. Your traffic never changes your bill.

Refunds & cancellation

Cancel anytime from the app’s settings page — billing stops at the end of the current period. If something went wrong, email us and we’ll make it right.
